2017!

Hello! 

I've been pretty bad about updating the blog this past year. But maybe I can change that around! 2017 is a new year (even if we're already half way through March!), and there is so much to accomplish this time around! So let's update you all and get this show on the road! 

New Years was spent with friends! E, Lucy, and I made the drive up to LA to ring in the new year at The Igloo! Our good friend, Raffy was spinning, his girl, Jazmine brought out her pole and there was lots of drinks and dancing! 

January 

is the start of competition season for me and my kiddos! 

So it's all about dancing, costumes, rhinestones and practicing until it's perfect!

My wonderful friend and bridesmaid, Saaya along with E, decided to throw me a surprise Engagement Party! They saw how said I was that many of our OC/LA friends couldn't make our June party. And they took matters into their own hands and hosted one in our home! I will say, that I had NO idea, and was so shocked, I was speechless! I'm very very blessed to have such loving and amazing people in my life, who love me very much :) 

February 

I got to take a little break from the craziness of life and jetted off to Hawaii to celebrate my childhood family friend's wedding! I mean, who wouldn't want to get married in paradise? 

My baby sister now lives up in SF, and is dancing with ODC! So her company went on tour and made a stop in LA, so the whole family made a trip to watch her perform! It was amazing to have the four of us back together, even for a short while! 

It's also wedding season, so E and I got to celebrate the union of two wonderful friends of ours!

And of course, we had another competition! And the girls were fabulous, I love watching them take the stage and just blow everyone away. 

March

And now, here we are! I mean, we're already half way through this month... but it's been a busy one so far! I finally got to hang out with my KM Legacy loves at our end of the year banquet, where we got our company some bomb a** jackets! And of course, we had another competition, this one was a LONG one! 

PHEW! We made it! I promise to try and update more. I'll have to do a Lucy update next. She's gotten so big, and she still lights up my life. E and I talk often about how we don't know how we lived without her :) We're obsessed and totally ok with it!

Sunday Funday

Holy cow, it's been over 6 months since my last post... Wow. Where has the time gone?! 

In the past six months, I've worked myself to the bone, and E has started a new job! He's still trying to get the hang of it and I'm trying to get used to our new schedule... Life keeps on trucking!

But Sunday's are still the day we get to have together (until my schedule takes off again). So we decided to head over to Soka University and take some shots, with baby Lucy too!

!ENGAGED!

Dang, I can't believe it's already February! Man, where has the time gone? So this past December, E and I hit our 3 year mark in our relationship, and then in January we went away to Big Sur with my sisters and Lucy... and now we're engaged! :) 

We ended up staying in this dog friendly hotel in Carmel, and if you've never been to Carmel... well it's like the most dog friendly town ever! I loved it, we walked around and they had dog bowls out for all the pups and they even had a bunch of dog friendly restaurants! It was awesome! 

Saturday was THE DAY, and we headed out to take photos, as always. I had no idea, obviously and we hit up the coast and bixby bridge before making our way to pfieffer beach, where he proposed. 

The weekend was pretty much perfect. I couldn't have asked for more. I was clueless and totally surprised... I mean it wasn't a picture perfect proposal, but it was perfectly us :) 

No wedding date set yet, since I'm in a crazy part of my work season. But we'll get around to it eventually :)

Lucy!

Ok, so I've been horrible about post, so I sincerely apologize! But we've made a recent addition to our little family! Meet Lucy! She's our 10 week old French Bulldog! She's a fawn color with a black mask. She's literally the cutest, most perfect little thing ever!

Dancin' around Walt Disney Concert Hall

So last Sunday, E, Lani, and I headed up to LA to do a mini photoshoot for a good friend of ours. And then we decided to have a little fun of our own! We started with just a little of improv and messing around, but our photos turned out wonderfully! E does it again! 😍

Later October, Hello November!

Holy moly, it's been a while since I've updated! Things have been a little hectic around here, but nothing completely out of the ordinary. I'm trying to really settle my work schedule, and stray away from working over 40 hours each week, it's actually a lot harder than it sounds... Especially being the workaholic that I am! 

But E was off in Norcal most of October for training, and I think he had a little too much fun up there! Though it was nice to have the whole King size bed to myself and stay up as late as I wanted with the TV blasting, hehe! 

Let's see though, this month we had: 

-Team Pool party 

-KML Video Shoot

-KML Midyear Retreat

- Choreography weekends 

- Lots of practices 

-Spirit Week! 

And that's a wrap for October! November is about to be an even crazier month, so I'll try to post again soon! Later dudes!
