I've been eyeing this beauty for a while and J was kind enough to buy for my birthday! I love Nixon and hope to keep growing my collection of their watches. I've slowly grown away from getting rubber/fun looking watches to more classy/fancy ones. It's starting to make me feel old.

Anyways, thanks for the present, babe! I love it so much.

Sunday Funday

J and I both had the day off so we did a little shopping and took some pictures. We headed back to The Lab in Costa Mesa to check out if the new Without Walls collection. After that, we spent the rest of the day hanging out and lounging at home! Such a nice and relaxing day for a change.

I had a great birthday yesterday! I rang in my birthday with family, I got to meet my cousin, Erich for the first time!

Even though I had to go to work on my birthday, my kids were so sweet to me! I got lots of hugs, balloons, and presents. And then they threw me into the foam pit before we all went home! 

When I got home, E had left me my presents on my bed. I got the sweetest card and two lovely dresses to pick from. And then he went and surprised me with a picnic on the beach :) 

And then we spent the rest of the night just relaxing and even got some Korean BBQ! I'd say it was the best birthday yet!

SD Chillin'

Yesterday was quite an eventful day for me. Blaise came down and we hung out the whole day up until I had to leave for the Yelp event. We started off hitting up one of my favorite spots in SD, the Salk Institute. I love the architecture there and it definitely makes for some great looking photos.

After an hour or so at Salk, we ventured off to visit J's sister, Kaci, at work. We hung out with her for a while and just caught up over some lunch.

Next we headed to North Park to check out Gym Standard. If you're ever in SD, definitely check out this spot. Edwin, the owner, is a super nice and down-to-earth guy.
