Palm Springs!

Out in Palm Springs for the week for nationals.

My mom and Scooter (her dog) came up for the 4th and stayed with us through the weekend. He's seriously the weirdest dog but does love me so!

4th pt.2

Yesterday was my first day off in a while. Got to do a bunch relaxing and errands around the house. My mom and our pup came up to hang out! 

And then our neighbors threw a little block party which we joined as soon as E got home! 

There was tons of food and the drinks were definitely flowing as well! And we hung out all day and walked across the street to watch the fireworks from all over oc 

It was definitely a good day!

Happy 4th!

We rang in this year's holiday at home with E knocked out on the couch! We've both been working a lot recently and I guess it's catching up to us!

E has work today, so we won't be doing anything too crazy. But here's a little throwback to last year, where we got to go to the SD Fair :)

Conferences...

E and his buddies do these little "conference calls" every week... they're basically google hang outs and they talk business. It's kind of cute. And E gets really serious... and totally ignores me! haha good thing I'm really good at entertaining myself!

Poke Fest 2014

Took some time off this past Monday to come check out the Poke Fest in Huntington Beach. Blaise's brother, Nino, has put on this event for the past four years both here in the OC and in San Diego. This was my second time attending the OC Poke Fest and it was even better than last year!

Last year's event was at a smaller, less nice location. The scenery and atmosphere of this location was ten times better. I'd estimate that there were around 300 people at the event chompin' down some poke and hawaiian food from a bunch of different restaurants. 

Twas a good night with even better food and company.

Yelp Elite @ ArtHatch

I had a chance to shoot another Yelp Elite event last week and this one was definitely right up my alley. I met some amazing artists who have definitely inspired me to think a little more outside the box. There was everything from painters and jewelers to sculptors and graffiti artists.

I should also mention there were some delicious treats and I had my share of Nothing Bundt Cakes and other sweets to give me a sugar rush.

These events are always fun and the people are always nice and friendly. I can't wait for the next one!
