Happy Birthday Ma!

After a long day of work for the both of us, we (along with all my siblings and Alec) took my mom out to dinner :) It's a very rare occasion that the four kids plus any one of our parents get to be together. And I swear it just gets hard with age. Even though they're super crazy and a big ol' pain in my butt, I wouldn't trade them for the world :)

Silly Baby Akira

Akira is soooo much fun to play with these days. Granted it's a bunch of gibberish, she talks soooo much and one can only imagine what she's trying to say. 

I love being able to go home and visit her and seeing how excited she gets when she sees me. She used to get really shy and actually even cry, but it's nothing but excitement and smiles when she sees me now. That definitely warms my heart. :) 

During my last trip down to SD, she actually took a nap with me. It was the first time she's ever done so! Afterwards, she must've been a little sleepy still because she put her sandals on the wrong way. I give her an A for effort though.

Dinner with my Faves

Lani and Alec let me come along with them down to Carlsbad for their "anniversary" dinner - it's coming up on their 1 year and 7 month mark this week, so they wanted to do something cute. I think they felt bad that I was going to be home all alone (since E went down to SD). But we went to one of the faves, Gregorio's and got some bomb italian food and fun drinks too! :)
