Dancin' around Walt Disney Concert Hall

So last Sunday, E, Lani, and I headed up to LA to do a mini photoshoot for a good friend of ours. And then we decided to have a little fun of our own! We started with just a little of improv and messing around, but our photos turned out wonderfully! E does it again! 😍

Be on the look out for part 2! ✌

Later October, Hello November!

Holy moly, it's been a while since I've updated! Things have been a little hectic around here, but nothing completely out of the ordinary. I'm trying to really settle my work schedule, and stray away from working over 40 hours each week, it's actually a lot harder than it sounds... Especially being the workaholic that I am!

But E was off in Norcal most of October for training, and I think he had a little too much fun up there! Though it was nice to have the whole King size bed to myself and stay up as late as I wanted with the TV blasting, hehe!

Let's see though, this month we had:
-Team Pool party
-KML Video Shoot
-KML Midyear Retreat
- Choreography weekends
- Lots of practices
-Spirit Week!

And that's a wrap for October! November is about to be an even crazier month, so I'll try to post again soon! Later dudes!

Labor Day Surprise!

So yesterday, we threw a surprise going away party for two of our dancers, who are UCLA bound! It's a very bittersweet time for me, and I'm having a hard time saying goodbye... But we always have a blast together and I'm glad we were able to do something really special for them

UCLA, you better take really good care of my babies!

New York!

So I'm a little late on my update, but things have been pretty crazy around here!

So last week, my baby sister performed at the Lincoln Center in New York! So we obviously had to go out there to support her... And get a mini vacation in there too :)

We flew out last Wednesday from SD with my Pops and other sister! And once we got there, we pretty much found some food and knocked out! (though we did find this awesome hole in the wall, pizza place that made this BOMB broccoli and chicken pizza NOM NOM)

Thursday, we strolled through Central Park and hit up the Metropolitan Museam of Art! And saw the open of Pearl the show! :)

Friday, we did both a bus and boat tour and walked all over the city! My feet were dead by the end of the day!

Saturday, we ate lunch in Union Square, and then did some more walking and shopping. (I did WAY too much shopping - I'm still hurting because of it! Lol But at least I look cute?)

Sunday, we got smarter and really used the metro more... Mostly because our feet were dead and we were sore lol and then that night, we saw Fuerza Bruta - which was INCREDIBLE! Like it seriously just blew my mind, I still have no words for it. Speechless. Like go see it. NOW! :)

And then Monday, we flew home! It was a action packed get away, but I'm so glad we made time for it! These were all from my iPhone and I'll have to do my next update with all the cool photos that E took!

Hip Hop Internationals

So for the past month or so, I've been super busy with just life. And then I decided to throw some crazy into the mix and join my KM family and compete at Hip Hop Internationals. I've been lucky enough to already have two awesome HHI experiences, but this time is something different and really special.
Kaba Modern 2009

Kaba Modern and TMB 2010

All three of our KM entities, Kaba Kids, Kaba Modern, and KM Legacy joined together to create one awesome set to put on that stage. We've never done this before and it's been such a rewarding experience!

Yesterday was USA preliminaries, and we got 3rd, so we're going to finals tonight! If all goes we'll then we're off to compete at worlds at the end of the week! I'm so beyond proud and cannot wait for tonight!
