Stay Classy, San Diego

Sometimes I find myself wanting to move out of SD but this picture always reminds me of how lucky I am to live here.

Goodnight and stay classy, San Diego.

Go Charguhs Go!

I've lived in San Diego since I was two years old and I still remember the days when my cousin and I would play football in the streets. Growing up in SD, it's only natural that I'm a diehard Chargers fan.

Rockin' my Seau jersey!

I've had so many memories watching Chargers games with my family and friends. I even remember my parents buying a big-screen TV just for the 1994 Super Bowl so my whole family could come over and make our viewing experience that much better.

Today, the Chargers went to Cincinnati and dominated the Bengals in their first playoff game in four years. Regardless of whether the Chargers go on to win the Super Bowl or not, I'm soooo excited for their future with so many young and talented players. Here's to more Chargers wins and memories!

And with that, I leave you with this...

Goodnight from us!

Just because we aren't together, doesn't mean that we won't get to see each other! Thank goodness for FaceTime! Love this crazy fool!

Goodnight world!

So here's the scoop...

J and I have been thinking about structure and organization of our blog and we've decided to come up with monthly themes we will focus on. We'll still post about random things - like my LEGO post - but this will give us some sort of structure and motivation to keep things fresh.

We haven't quite figured out the order but things like fashion, places we've been, new restaurants we've yet to explore, etc. are all examples of what we're thinking. For the month of January, we've decided to share more about ourselves! We'll be posting things about our families, our hobbies, some interesting facts about us, and so on.

We're both really excited to share our adventures with everyone! - insert happy emoji - or I guess I could just do this.... d=) ..... That's a smiley face with a hat... I wear hats all the time.

Dancing in the Moonlight

Being a dance teacher, you'd think that I'd get to dance all the time. But the reality is that I don't… which kind of sucks. I might do a little stretching with each class, but it's been a while since I've gotten to really just bust some moves! The last time I got to put on a show was our studio's recital back in June. Running the whole show, was not my cup of tea! But dancing in it made it all worth it, especially since I got to do a cute little duet with one of my former students who now teaches a few classes for us! Love her.
I even whipped out a solo… ok most of it was improvisation, but the audience didn't know that! I loved just being up on stage again and enjoying the spotlight for a brief moment.
And now I've pulled out my dancing shoes again. And I'm going to perform at Vibe this month… our group is not quite ready and we've only got 4 more practices left. I'm a little nervous, but we're an exhibition performance so it's all for fun and there isn't any of that competition stress (thank goodness). I'm already sore since I just got home from practice! Gotta love the dance grind!

Off to bed!

Leh-Go!

J will definitely think I'm a "goober" for posting this but I don't care! I can't be contained! Ok, enough with the dramatics. I bought this LEGO set awhile ago and never opened it. Finally brought out my inner child/nerd and put it together!

Thinking this might be my next LEGO creation. Whatcha think?

Santa Monica 1.2.14

What's up everyone?! E here. J and I took a trip up to Santa Monica and took this shot under the pier. I still have a long way to go to get to where I want to be skill-wise with my photography, but Juli looks absolutely gorgeous in all the pictures I take of her. - insert smiley emoji with heart eyes -

I also have to note I'm rocking shoes, a jacket, and hat from The Hundreds. Gotta love 'em.
