Day 4

So today marks the official anniversary of our grandfather's passing. So this morning we met my mom and Uncle Donny at the temple and then visited Grandma at the cemetery, after we cleaned the family headstone.

After we headed east to Sandys, the sand was so soft and the water was beautiful! 

We soaked up a lot of sun and then decided to head out and explore more. 

Took some touristy pictures at the lookout 

And then got to chill and watch the sunset. 

Doesn't feel like we did all that much, but man does the sun totally drain you. I'm loving this vacation, and I'm not sure I'm going to ever leave :)

Secret Beach

Today was our 3rd day in Hawaii and we headed over to "secret beach" in Ko'Olina. We hung out there basically ALL day, even with a super overcast day. We absolutely love this beach because it's super chill and secluded. We even got to swim with a bunch of turtles!

We're loving our trip so far and can't wait to adventure more tomorrow.

Koko Head

So the original plan was to hike to some waterfall this morning, but after we saw the traffic we would have to sit through we decided against it. My sister and her boyfriend are staying at his cousin's place, which is right by Koko Head. So we headed out at 7:30 this morning... It was a little crazy!

About half way up 

Made it to the top!

Young Choreographer's Showcase

So when our Ballet company director quit in December, my co-worker, Sara and I got put in charge of putting together this showcase. We were really unsure about putting it together, since we were given a short amount of time to put it together, and we had never done anything like it before. The cool part about this showcase is that the girls do all the choreography themselves. And we really only had to supervise them a bit, and give a few a few pointers/advice. I was seriously impressed with the kids and the routines that they came up with! I think I've got a bit of competition now lol, mostly it just inspired to me get back on my A game and work on myself.

Lancer Dancers 4 Life

Went down to Carlsbad to watch the Lancer Dancer (LD) girls perform. J and her two sisters both danced on the same team when they were in high school, so it's something that is very dear to their hearts. 

Here's a picture of the four seniors who are graduating this year. We're all sad that they're graduating and moving on from LD but we're excited to see them continue to grow as dancers and as individuals. Congrats on all your accomplishments girls!
