Yelp @ Tavern+Bowl

Was asked to take pictures for Yelp down in San Diego again and since I was planning on being in the area, I didn't mind spending a couple hours shooting some pics. To my surprise, I also saw a few of my friends who are Yelp Elite members. It was great to catch up with them and get paid doing it.

Attempting to cook

My sister and I were super hungry after work tonight and since E isn't here to cook for me, we had to fend for ourselves! So we made some mashed potatoes, some yummy fruit smoothies and some healthy ish that I have no idea what's in it! But it was still very noms! We even made some mac and cheese bites :) #winning

House "Wife" Duties

Best boyfriend ever award goes to me! Since J is usually either sleeping or working during the day, I'm the one who's tasked with cooking for the both of us. Tonight, I made some beef w/ broccoli for myself and an egg, cheese, and potato burrito for J. These are probably some of our favorite dishes and things we eat very often. I'm hoping we can take a cooking class soon so we can learn how to cook more things!

Move it

Today was day 3 of the competition. I got there at 7am and haven't left yet… probably won't get out of here till like 1am... The competition is running SUPER late. There are kids dancing onstage and it's already 11pm... Ugh such a mess and everyone is sooo exhausted...

Even the dads got in some nap time, while waiting for all the girls.

I had some time early this morning to attempt to help my Cbad kids with their math homework... They need to take better notes though!

Even though it's been a long weekend, we've still had lots of fun all together! Love my crazies!

Three Amigos!

I'm so fortunate to have met these two guys. I've only known them for about 3 months but they've quickly become two of my favorite people. They're so down to earth, genuinely great guys, and extremely humble and it was easy to get along with them.

Joe is a little older, 40+ years old to be exact, but he's probably in better shape than I am right now. He's a business owner and has been such a wealth of knowledge for someone like me who is trying to start my own small business.

Taylor is a rockstar and used to manage the biggest Vans retail store and helped coordinate some of their big events, including the US Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach. He's currently working on his own clothing line and we recently partnered up on one of his shoots.

I couldn't have asked to be working with a better group of guys. Can't wait to see what lies ahead of us!

Move!

Today was Day 1 of out last regional dance competition. Drove all the way up to Pasadena, to find that they were running an hour and a half behind schedule. I'm pretty fed up with this competition... They never respond to emails, they give you the run-around when you finally call, they got out the schedule only 3 days before the competition and then changed the schedule and sent out a new one the afternoon before. It's not the best start to my weekend... But luckily I've got my cuties to keep my company, along with my old studio!
