Best BF award

Almost every night I cook and prepare dinner for J and myself. Since J works odd hours I'm left with he duty of feeding both of us. I'm no master chef and I usually just heat stuff up when buy from Trader Joe's but it's actually pretty fun cooking! Hopefully one of these days we can both go take a cooking class together... Haha

Win!

Went to E's flag football games again today. Their first game was a little rough but they really pulled it together for the last game and came out with their first win! Woooo! Proud of my man!

Bubbles!

J and I finally had a weekend day off together, so we made our way down to my parent's house down in SD. My sister stopped by with my brother-in-law and niece, and they started moving things around the house in preparation for their move back home!

While my sister moved stuff, J and I got my niece all to ourselves. We spent a good amount of time playing with bubbles in the backyard. She's so smart and silly and I can't believe how fast she's growing up.

After 5 days of competition, I'm finally home!

 

All the girls did awesome. Some of our routines really came together and I couldn't be more proud of these kids. 

Even though we were out there for the competition, we did have loads of fun just being together! 

Lucky to have such awesome kids in my life! Thanks for an amazing first season as director! Onto the second one!

Scripps Pier

Spent a good part of my trip down to SD hanging out with friends and family. Marc wanted to test out his new Sony Nex5 camera and I've been wanting to head to Scripps Pier to take some pictures, so it was the perfect time to go.

We found great parking right near the stairs and headed straight down to the beach. I never noticed the Scripps Forum was so close and I snapped a pretty sweet shot of the venue. I love how you can see the reflections of the clouds in the windows. Definitely one of my favorite shots from the day. Did I also mention that the Scripps Forum is a great wedding venue ;).

Once we got to the pier, we spent a good 30 minutes or so taking pictures. This is a great spot for photo sessions of any kind. We actually saw an engagement shoot and a little family shoot take place during our time there. I'm definitely going to be coming back here soon!

Just a thought

No pictures today, but I did want to post about how blessed I am for everything in my life, ESPECIALLY my little baby J. I haven't been posting a lot because I've been so busy with work and trying to start up some business projects. J is probably just as busy, if not busier than me, yet she still posts all the days that I miss, which has been multiple days in a row.

I love you so much, J! And I already miss you hogging up all the bed space. :) Here's a little throwback for you.
