Padres vs. Rockies

During my last trip down to SD, I checked out the Padres game with Blaise. It was actually his birthday so I treated him out and paid for his food at the game. After checking out Angel Stadium, I had more appreciation for Petco Park, its beauty, and its selection of concessions. Of course we had to pick up some Phil's BBQ and Baked Bear ice cream sandwiches. 

I was actually real excited to come to the game and check out Rymer Liriano in action. He's one of the Padres most promising young players and he had a HUGE home run during the game that helped the Padres beat the Rockies. Go Padres!

One if my close friends from college got engaged earlier this year and we had a cocktail style engagement party for her :)

Favorite Little Niece Part 2342345 & Oscar's Mexican Seafood

I've posted plenty of pictures of my niece, Akira, but I just can't get enough of her, so I'll go ahead and post more pics that I took of her.

I headed down to SD for a quick visit to celebrate Blaise's birthday. Right when I got home, my sister was getting ready to head out with my bro-in-law and the baby to do a little back-to-school shopping. She asked me to tag along and I said, sure why not.

Before heading to the mall, we headed to Oscar's to grab a late lunch. Oscar's is hands down one of the best Mexican seafood joints in SD. Here's some pics from our lunch.

Choreo Week pt.3

Seriously loving this week and all the crazy amazing choreography that my kids are getting to learn this week. So excited for this new season! Super delirious after 12 hours/day though!

Anaheim Angels

My buddy Marc drove up to the OC and we headed out to the Angels vs. Dodgers game! We've both been wanting to go check out Angel Stadium for awhile now, so it was cool to finally make it out there. It was awesome to see Mike Trout, Albert Pujols, and Josh Hamilton in person. Granted we had nosebleed seats, it was still a great experience. Don't get me wrong, I'm a diehard Padres fan, but on that day, I was rooting for the Angels to win, and unfortunately for us, they couldn't pull out a win.

Overall, it was a great experience and really cool to check out another baseball stadium. I'd say the only thing that I wasn't satisfied with would be the food selection there. Petco Park has by far better food selection with all the great local eateries in San Diego - Phil's, Baked Bear, Hodad's, Oggi's, etc.

We definitely plan on coming back, hopefully with better seats!

Choreo Week pt.2

I'm seriously blessed with the best sisters ever. They are not only amazing people and dancers but choreographers! And this year my students are lucky enough that both of them made time to create routines for them!

Of course when we're together we love to watch old videos of routines we've created together - and it get pretty nostalgic :) love them.
