E and I are both working a ton. And somehow still manage to find a little bit of cuddle time :)

I'm backkkkk

I've been gone but I promise I'm still here! I've been very busy with work and J has been sucha trooper for holding it down for the both of us.

This past Sunday I attended my first Chargers game of the season! We got there around 9am in the morning and tailgated up until game time at 1pm. It was so much fun hanging with all my friends and being around all the Charger fans.

It was great that we pulled off a win but it would have been a successful day regardless of the outcome of the game. I love my friends and I love my Chargers!

Party time!

Kaci had to teach this morning. So we made it a group thing and headed over to Cal Elite around 8:30am. There always lots of entertainment when my sisters and I are together. Did some choreo/teaching and then headed back home. Mom and B went out and got some groceries and we had a mini brunch since we were headed out to a birthday bash soon. 

Got to hang out with all the dance girlies and my favorite little boy, X! 

Now I'm pooped! Goodnight world!

Got my hair done today! And I think I've finally found my new amazing stylist! Seriously so hard to find the right one sometimes! Got a cut, an ombré and some purple and blue streaks! You can't really see the blue yet. But with time and fading... It'll be awesome!

RIP Kuma

Today we had to say goodbye to our oldest friend, Kuma. He wormed his way into ur arms and hearts back in 2001. But two years ago (or almost), we found out he had a tumor in his heart and that he probably wouldn't make it past 3-6 months. Thanks you for all the extra time you gave us to prepare for this day. We love you Kums.

Had our first team party for the 2014-2015 season today! Headed over to the pool for lots of fun, games and team bonding. The girls had to do a puzzle to figure out their team sister and we did some fun get-to-know-you games in the pool, because it was way too hot today! I even convinced Kaci to stay longer and she got to be the photographer today! Go Kace! :)

My sister Kaci, came up to spend the day with me today! I barely get to see her since we both have crazy full time jobs and she lives down in SD. Got rondo some shopping and visited E at work and then we took her out to dinner at CPK! We LOVE the butter cake there! Noms! 

Luckily she'll be back next weekend too! Wooohooo!

Up on Pointe

Pointe is a pretty big deal when growing up in dance. It's take a lot of time and work to be able to be promoted and approved to get those lovely pointe shoes! So we try to make it a big deal for the kids, and E came in and took some photos for us. He's so great with the kids, and I just love it :)

Had the day off today and I finally found some time to get some stuff together for my website. There's still a lot of work that needs to be done and I definitely want to add more pictures before it goes live.

I was looking through some of my previous pics and came across this little gem. I may have posted this pic before but this picture definitely speaks to me and inspires me to go out and shoot more. I love this pic and want to be able to capture more moments like this. It's simple, yet so beautiful.

Happy Birthday Ma!

After a long day of work for the both of us, we (along with all my siblings and Alec) took my mom out to dinner :) It's a very rare occasion that the four kids plus any one of our parents get to be together. And I swear it just gets hard with age. Even though they're super crazy and a big ol' pain in my butt, I wouldn't trade them for the world :)

Silly Baby Akira

Akira is soooo much fun to play with these days. Granted it's a bunch of gibberish, she talks soooo much and one can only imagine what she's trying to say. 

I love being able to go home and visit her and seeing how excited she gets when she sees me. She used to get really shy and actually even cry, but it's nothing but excitement and smiles when she sees me now. That definitely warms my heart. :) 

During my last trip down to SD, she actually took a nap with me. It was the first time she's ever done so! Afterwards, she must've been a little sleepy still because she put her sandals on the wrong way. I give her an A for effort though.

Dinner with my Faves

Lani and Alec let me come along with them down to Carlsbad for their "anniversary" dinner - it's coming up on their 1 year and 7 month mark this week, so they wanted to do something cute. I think they felt bad that I was going to be home all alone (since E went down to SD). But we went to one of the faves, Gregorio's and got some bomb italian food and fun drinks too! :)
