Thanksgiving Round 2

So my family is weird and my parents rarely spend time together, so we had our second Thanksgiving dinner yesterday with my dad and his family. They're basically nocturnal, and never arrive when they planned... but we love them anyways. Gram and Gramps are getting older, so we try to spend as much time with them as possible. We made them play Heads Up with us today, and it was hilarious! Good times with the Knockout Clan!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving from the Bondoc family! I swear I've missed so many family parties the last few months, so it was really nice to see everyone yesterday. We're missing quite a few in this picture but we just keep getting bigger and bigger.

Thanksgiving

Headed down to Carlsbad with the siblings so we could have dinner with my mom. Traffic wasn't too bad considering we left in the early afternoon. Took some pictures in the backyard and then had a wonderful feast :) I love food and family. E was down in SD with his family, and we are now reunited in OC!

Ted's Place

Got to spend some time with Alec and Lani this morning. We headed over to Ted's Place which is a nice little breakfast spot near our home. This restaurant reminds me a lot of Don's, a place we would go to ALL THE TIME down in Carlsbad.

I wouldn't mind coming here every Sunday!

Getting Excited...

...FOR TURKEY!

Holidays are kind of a pain for my family, since there's always a bit of drama. But I do love getting to spend time with my extended family, as I get older if feels like I see them less and less. And the older I get, the older they get, and that just makes me sad. 

So here's my grandparents... 

Grandma loves tweety bird and cat sweaters! She also has no problem shaking a knife at you, if you're being bad! Lol, but don't worry, we're all angels! ;) 

Ok, not the best picture of Gramps. But he's always moving about! He'll seriously kick your butt in a game of pool, and act like he has no idea how that happened! :) 

Just two of the reasons, I tough it through the craziness of holiday seasons!

Free People Shoot

When J's sister, Kaci, is around, we always end up trying to take some pictures. Kaci is always rockin' her favorite Free People and our photoshoots are usually centered around showcasing her clothes and style.

This past weekend, Kaci came up to watch their little sister, Lani, perform with Entity in LA but before we watch their show, we woke up bright and early (J was not happy) to snap some pics!

We finally found some time to go take some pictures with Kaci! Headed over to Soka University again, and had a lot of laughs! Love spending time with my sister and E :) Here's just one I took of Kace, but we took SOOO many! :) I'll let E post all the nice ones lol

Braxon vs Oregon

Entity, this amazing contemporary dance group that Lani is a member of, put on their very first show this weekend. They started working on it back in January and it was such an awe inspiring performance. The show was based on a trial for the Death with Dignity Act, and it was so emotional, raw and thought provoking. I cried a number of times, the performers really took on their role, whether it was a jury member, a lawyer, the judge or a witness... I was blown away. A huge round of applause for these amazing dancers and innovative choreographers! 

Congrats on an amazing show Lani!

Awkward Fams

So I jetted over to Irvine after work tonight. Forgot a jacket and hung out in the cold as the Kaba Kids had their last practice before Vibe Jrs tomorrow. They're seriously incredible! Kaba Kids is an 18 and under hip hop dance team, and the level of talent is just out of this world! I share 3 littles with my friend, Jon aka Awkward - so we're the Awkward Fams! And at the end of the night, we found out it was Valentina's last practice. I was soooo glad I stayed to support, since I'm sure I won't get to see her as often now. But we'll see, I'm hoping for a family dinner or something fun.

This is probably still one of my favorite pictures of us. This was last year on July 4th, where we randomly decided to go to the Fair! My family loves the fair, we used to go every single year - a bunch of times each summer. But now that we're grown, it's a bit harder to find time to get away. So cheers to those carefree days, and here's to creating time to recreate more moments like this!

Happy Birthday to my baby brother, B! We headed over to Denny's at Midnight, for our birthday celebration tradition :) B got his French Toast, and Lani eventually met us there after a long night of rehearsals. Gotta love my crazy busy fam!

This picture is from last week but it makes me so happy! J never gets to see baby Akira but the baby instantly fell in love with her and couldn't be separated from her Auntie J. They did a lot of dancing, coloring, drawing, and a whole lot of babbling (mostly Akira). Can't wait for J and I to see her again.

Sometimes work can get tough and days sometimes seem to go real slow, but coming home to this little one and spending some quality time with her makes it all better and worth it!

Bat Mitzvah

Went to one of my dancer's bat mitzvah celebration. It's crazy to think that she's a teenager now and I met her when she was like 8 years old! My babies are seriously growing up way too fast! I just adore them, they're so crazy and kept calling me out on the dance floor! Those little buggers lol :)
