Had to go into work today, and decided to dress up - even though we close early and I plan on having a date with my Netflix! ;)

I love when the sun sets and reflects off the grey clouds and makes the sky look like it's burning. I snapped this shot on my iPhone 6 Plus on the way back from visiting my friend Taylor at the hospital. I'm always so amazed at how beautiful sunsets can be, even when there are rainy days ahead.

Back at it!

Took a short break from dancing with Legacy, but now I'm back! Going to be super sore tomorrow! But I love being back at practice... It's time to get back into shape!

Soka University

I remember visiting Soka University back when I was still coaching my old high school dance team and just being so fascinated by how beautiful the campus is. The fountain near the main entrance is seriously so majestic and makes for great pictures.

J and I decided to stop by there so we could snap a few shots. The campus looked just as amazing as I had remembered it.

Ruby's Shake Shack

Since I've been living up here in Orange County, I've been wanting to check out Ruby's Shake Shack off of the Pacific Coast Highway. We haven't had the chance to stop by and eat there because it's always super busy and we end up just going to Bear Flag, which is really close by. 

At last! We went yesterday and it wasn't too busy. J and I each got our own burgers and we shared a Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough milkshake. It was super good! It's a little expensive for a burger joint but you can't beat the fantastic view of the ocean.

Date day!

E and I both had today off, though I haven't been feeling all that well so he let me sleep in. What a sweetie! Once I got up be made me food and we watched a bunch of episodes of Arrow. Then we headed out to Crystal Cove to get some burgers and shakes at the shake shack. 

Then we headed over to Soka University to take some pictures 

Then we hit up Target and got to go see Gone Girl! Such a great movie! And was very similar to the book! 

Seriously, had a wonderful day off with my love! And now it's time for some cough medicine and lots of sleep!

Daze off

Took the day off, so E and I headed down to Cbad so he could participate in the golf tournament my old dance team puts on each year! Loved getting to see the girls and just relax a bit!

Peace Out SB!

Finished our crazy two minute dance this morning! Woohoo! Was a little nervous for a few moments that we'd have to leave with an unfinished product, but we pulled it together! Super excited for this team and can't wait to see how it looks on the floor! 

Then we had to take some pics for Kace, cuz it's her alma mater 

And then headed to LA for a late lunch with her old roommates! They're crazy but I adore them! 

And now we're home! And I'm already sore and ready to go to bed!

Hello Santa Barbara!

Drove up to SB this morning so we could work with their dance team! Made it up here really fast! 

Even got to get dinner with my friend, Carllene!

At it again!

Kaci drove up tonight to meet me at the studio so we could get some choreography done. We're off to Santa Barbara in the morning to work with the UCSB dance team and put together their nationals routine. It's pretty tough to figure out a mix and choreography when we have crazy full time work schedules and don't live together anymore. But our mix is pretty awesome, because we have an awesome DJ! Now to put all the moves and concepts together!

Lappert's Ice Cream

Akira's 2nd Birthday!

So my niece turned two on the 8th and I wasn't there to celebrate, so my family and I grabbed some lunch yesterday to "celebrate" again.

We headed over to a Thai food restaurant in Poway. The presentation of all the food was awesome but the food tasted even better! We probably ordered and shared ten different plates, four of which went to my bro-in-law Ian.

After lunch, we headed next door to Lappert's Ice Cream. I love Lappert's because they have Hawaii inspired flavors, one of my favorites being their Coconut Macadamia Nut. I bought Akira some Pineapple Dole Whip and it's safe to say she really enjoyed it.

Homecoming!

Headed to the SM Homecoming game at the local community college tonight after work, with some of the girls! It was awesome to see some of our older dancers and my babes working it out on the field! Such a weird experience being back at a high school football game. I have mixed feelings on if I really do miss it or not... kind of leaning towards not though! Lol!

But I do love my crazy kids and will support them in all that they do!

Got to FaceTime with E and his niece. She's so silly, and I just adore her :) She's officially two as of yesterday! Wooo! Baby girl is growing up and pretty much talking now! She's seriously so fast now, that's hard to get a good picture of her or me! lol
